About Jodi Jackson Photography

Jodi Jackson Photography is based in Austin, TX, and has been shooting professionally since 1999. Jodi graduated the University of North Texas in 1997 with a degree in Advertising and Marketing. Six months later, she moved to Los Angeles and began to take photography courses and work on her own to build a portfolio.

Although Jodi continues to work primarily in the area of people photography, she is also a still life photographer. A former actress with lots of on-camera experience herself, Jodi knows what makes a great photograph. She uses both black & white and color mediums to generate signature images. She believes in keeping things simple when she works and always aims to capture the essence of her subjects.

She continuously looks to exceed her client's expectations and can help you conceptualize an image that will be most suitable for your circumstances or she can make the kind of photographs you already have in mind.

Jodi shoots at locations within about an hour of Austin at a local rate. Arrangements can be made for locations outside of Austin for a minimal travel fee.

Jodi has built a business that also includes graphic design services, as well as a few digital services, including scanning, recording to CD-ROM, and light retouching of photographs.

Her fees are competitive and depend on usage, time involved, level of difficulty and type of project. Jobs are bid on an individual basis.
